SCYC and the Laura Rangers have had an ongoing partnership since 2007, which has been funded by the Queensland Government through the Land and Sea Ranger Program.

SCYC and the Balnggarrawarra Rangers have had an ongoing partnership since 2011, which has been funded by the Queensland Indigenous Land and Sea Rangers - Conservation Partnerships through the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection. The Balnggarrawarra Rangers work across both Melsonby and Normanby Stations.

Rock Art Site identification and recording
Weed and feral animal management
Fire management
Biodiversity surveys
SCYC staff have an ongoing partnership with Lama Lama Rangers to monitor 14 of their wetlands. This monitoring has been conducted each year since 2011, and data collected has helped the Lama Lama Rangers to shape their wetland management program.
